Do not buy!: Electronics

**Upgrade** Do not buy this device. I really wanted to love this item as you can see from my previous review. The problem is that the neck that connects the ball joint to the bike tends to break, even over rough terrain. I was riding my bike and it broke because of small potholes. I've gone through two of these mounts, both broke in the same spot, and the second time my phone was partially broken. The mount never let go of the phone! Nevertheless, he was overtaken. Until they fix the brittle plastic problem, your phone isn't safe in this mount. I sent them a detailed email with pictures to complain. I hope you're listening. --------------------------------------------- ----- ------------------ ----This mount worked great. It's very well designed, the material and build quality is much higher than I expected for the price, and they even included an Allen key for installation. The handlebar clamp is plastic, but the hardware that attaches it is actually stainless steel, a nut and cap screw. I was expecting a metal screw that screws into plastic, so this exceeded my expectations. This clip also comes with several rubber strips. This is useful as it allows you to remove a strip or two to fit the handlebar diameter. This is the smart way to do it. The phone clip is a spring-loaded plastic sponge with rubber inserts. Add straps and you have a system that virtually CANNOT drop your phone. All in all, this is a great mount. It got four stars because the mount turned a bit during my ride even though I had the handlebar clamp fully tightened. I have a road bike, so let's not talk about mountain trails. I was expecting it to stay firmly in place, but found myself turning the screen back into sight (20* max) after about 10 miles. I am sure that with some effort I can find a solution to this small problem.**Update**24. September 2018 This ball joint neck mount broke while driving today. I was riding my road bike down a rough road and the bracket on my neck broke, my phone fell on the road and smashed the screen. The mount wouldn't let go of my phone, but it almost got crushed by a car. Design needs improvement!
