The end gets very hot and there isn't enough material to avoid burning your fingers. I would consider other dryers if I knew. Mainly for the cost. I even had a friend use it and she said the same thing and I never mentioned it. So just something to consider. The remaining bristles are soft and the drying performance is excellent.
