Review on Jabra Freeway Bluetooth Speakerphone Packaging by Ickey Case

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is exactly what I needed!

Well, maybe I'll "love" him after a while, but I'm a skeptical older woman and I don't fall in love easily. So I would bet four and a half. But here is the report after I got it yesterday. First of all, don't trust the description. The actual speaker (Freeway) measures 4 x 4.5 inches, not 4.56 x 6.97 inches like the size of the box it came in. Setup was easy. I charged the speakerphone around the house for a while. I activated Bluetooth on my Samsung SM-G930A and paired it with the device. I was asked if I wanted Freeway to have access to my phone book and I said yes. I then transferred the entire kit and cab to my 2007 Tahoe and attached the Freeway to the visor, again following the instructions to turn it on. and link and it worked great. I had to "dial" the numbers on the physical phone because I hadn't set up voice commands yet, but after a day and three calls (two inbound, one outbound) I found the system to be working very well. One phone call was when the AC turned on (the car just started, on the 91+ road). The outside noise "interfered" with the person on the cell phone at the other end. According to the receiver, however, other calls were crisp and clear. As for me, I can't say enough about the sound. It was clear and loud enough for my hearing impaired husband in the passenger seat to hear perfectly. I have kids with blue toothed cars (via audio) and I will say it was a lot easier for me to hear the other person. Here are some photos of the freeway attached to the canopy. Please note that it is on the left side and can be easily removed from the rearview mirror. All in all a good buy. Got one for my other old cars now!
