First of all, this is my first high-end headset and my first wireless headset. My previous headset was a Logitech G430 which was held together with tape and zip ties but worked. before that there was a Rosewell RHTS-8206 headset with true 5.1. Also, I'm the type who doesn't mind big or heavy headphones and prefers these. I'm all about surround sound, quality and functionality. All in all a very good headset, I was very skeptical about wireless as I was afraid of disconnects and dongle communication as well as lag. However, compared to my wired G430, I never noticed any lag or dropouts or anything like that. Now the most important thing I will say against the headset. I noticed tech YouTubers and reviewers were saying the same thing as me when I received the headset. The RGB strip is on the back of the headset and the RGB logo is on the back corner of the earcups. That is NOT why I got the headset in the first place. ultimately useless and not visible to your viewer even for a streamer. So RGB is completely useless unless it's on a stand or something pointed at you. although the controls for RGB are nice. Something else. The price, yes it's a really good headset and wireless, but personally I think the 'refurbished' prices I bought it for was $80, closer to what they should be new maybe a little bit more. just because I'm sure RGB holds some of those prices when it's useless eye candy that only those behind you or looking at the back of your head will see. The last thing I'm not a fan of, but that's personal preference. The mic on the boom isn't very flexible, which comes out a little is flexible, but I'm also very used to having the mic fairly close to parts of my jaw so I don't have to speak loudly. The only good thing about this headset is that I don't have to worry about the mic rubbing against my beard, and it doesn't really have to be very close to my mouth since I only use voice activation for team chat and discord. .Personally I can't say anything bad about the headset other than what is mentioned above. The overall quality is really good, I did some test songs I did on each headset for myself and I actually heard something I had never heard before. The bass is really good, which I like. The surround sound definitely seems better than my old G430, the WiFi works really well and the plus is you can leave the USB charging cable plugged in, so it was basically a wired headset back then, it was nice to have it to have.
