We haven't had a decent printer in at least 5 years. We avoided the budget options and loved the Epson product. He felt very solid and that he could hold out. Opened the box this afternoon and was amazed at the amount of protective tape on the machine. Installation was easy. Then the problems started as the device just wouldn't print anything. Like others, I received an error message that the paper cassette was not properly installed when it was actually installed. Called Epson and they finally admitted the problem was hardware. Note. I have completed the firmware update. UPS will ship the printer back tomorrow morning.
