Works very well. I tested it with a steel hammer on level 1 and it worked great. Easy to attach a pen. Very ergonomic and light. It's as easy as holding a pen to write. Doesn't get hot but quite noisy even at minimum power of 1. I recommend using earplugs. I wish it came with a storage pouch as this is a tool I will probably only use 2-4 times a year. The instruction manual was well written in English. It's been a long time since I've read such a well-written foreign import guide. Excellent work! However, 12 pages from the 3rd to the 9th page are devoted to security. It felt like security overkill. After some time, reading the manual became quite tedious and unconvincing, but I patiently stayed on track and read every page. Only the bottom third of page 9 and the entirety of page 10 were dedicated to the actual operation of the instrument. On page 11 was a parts diagram. Page 12, the last page, was about a two-year limited warranty or 500 hours of use. The country of origin is not indicated on the tool or in the instructions. After some searching I found "Made in China" on the back of the disposable box. So if, like me, you throw away the box right after opening it without reading what's on it, you have little idea where this tool is made. At the same time, the product is made of durable plastic. Longevity has yet to be determined given the low cost. Overall I'm impressed compared to others based on what I read the reviews before buying. What made me buy this product is the lower cost and the ease of installing or replacing the stylus. Mine came with 1 Allen and 1 carbide tipped pen or template, NOT 2 templates as described on Revain.
