I was so excited to get (and install) these mirrors for our new bathroom remodel, but the moment my husband took the mirror out of the box, he noticed the cord on the back protruding at least ½ inch from the rear mounting plate - other similar mirrors have a recessed plate on the back of the mirror, hence the cord /Wiring can be hidden.Behind a concealed wall mount mirror.Also there is a warning in the installation guide stating that cutting the cable for a wired installation will void the warranty which is very important if you are planning on installing one Mirror to connect.Due to this serious design flaw, it is not possible to mount this mirror flush with the wan d to install without cutting a channel through the drywall to allow the cable to be buried. So incredibly disappointed and shocked that no other reviewer has mentioned this issue in previous reviews. Biggest design flaw! Unfortunately, both mirrors had to be returned.
