Review on Rokinon Xeen XN85 C Professional Canon by Alyssa Turner

If, like me, you're looking for an affordable true cine 85mm, this lens is the obvious choice. The lens itself is very sharp, which is obviously important. But if you were expecting the lens to look exactly like those photos, you will be disappointed. What is pictured here appears to be the PL mount version. Sony's E-mount version features an extension that significantly increases the length of the lens. I wish Sony's E-mount version was as short as this one. Be aware before you buy. One star deducted as the glass has a slightly greenish/blue tint. This can be fixed in post, but it would be nice if the lens rendered colors naturally off-camera.
