Review on Sceptre E275W 1920 V1 Frameless LED Monitor: Wall Mountable with Pivot Adjustment and HDMI Connectivity by Matt Bedell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great inexpensive monitor.

I love everything about this monitor. The picture is very clear and bright, all the colors are exactly as they should be. The build quality is good and solid and it has a good selection of ports. I'll buy another one when I'm not a poor kid anymore so I can set up two monitors on my PC. My only two MINOR (and I do stress minor) complaints about this item are:1̶.̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶a̶c̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶i̶t̶o̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶g̶l̶e̶d̶ ̶d̶o̶w̶n̶ ̶s̶l̶i̶g̶h̶t̶l̶y̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶s̶i̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶l̶a̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶i̶t̶s̶ ̶b̶a̶s̶e̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶l̶a̶t̶ ̶d̶e̶s̶k̶.̶ ̶A̶ ̶s̶i̶m̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶s̶i̶g̶n̶ ̶f̶l̶a̶w̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶l̶y̶,̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶e̶a̶s̶i̶l̶y̶ ̶f̶i̶x̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶p̶u̶t̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶e̶w̶ ̶p̶i̶e̶c̶e̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶d̶b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶s̶i̶m̶i̶l̶a̶r̶ ̶s̶i̶z̶e̶ ̶u̶n̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶n̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶n̶d̶.̶2. The built in speaker that comes with this monitor is rubbish. It kind of blows out at high frequencies and isn't as clear at low and mid frequencies. This is to be expected though as this is a cheap monitor I am buying here and not a high end speaker system. Or even an acoustic system in general. If you rely on this speaker as the main audio output for your computer, chances are you're either new to the computer world or don't care. Anyway, it really doesn't matter that much. UPDATE: Someone who replied to my review pointed this out to me, and I didn't realize it until they noticed. MONITOR TILT ALL! All you have to do is press down on the base and slide the top of the monitor away from you, and the miracle of miracles will happen. The screen tilts! Con #1 is officially closed!
