So, following the advice of many other reviewers, I ordered these 1/2 sizes larger than usual (I usually wear 11 1/2 sizes) and I'm glad I did. They fit well and were comfortable right out of the box. Today is the 4th day and they are fine. I'll probably get softer insoles (I have a pretty bad case of plantar fasciitis on my left foot) but so far they're fine. Let's see how durable they are, but they seem to be well made. Addendum: I've been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now and they are quite comfortable. They fell into disrepair pretty quickly - in fact, they were pretty damn comfortable when I put them on. I'm glad I took the larger size as they fit well and don't give me "clown feet" with the plus size. You're still getting excellent marks in my book after 2 weeks.
