I said to my friend, "If I could marry a backpack, I would marry. . I took it on a 10 day international trip plus my carry on and it fit most of my stuff. The frame fitted my waist perfectly and I enjoyed carrying some water with me on long day trips. This bag expands when needed and has all the pockets I could ever need. Also great for hiking. My only complaint that I've seen before is that the tethered side pockets on the hips are too far back for easy access. Otherwise this is a great backpack and I would recommend it to anyone.
