Even before I opened it, the picture shows that the bottle was more than half empty. This is ONLY acceptable for bags of potato chips. And that's acceptable ONLY because society has allowed potato chip makers to get away with it for millennia. I opened it (it was sealed so no, nobody took the other half of the bottle). I opened it up and tried it and it was incredibly thick and a bit hard gum but my teeth are still intact so it's fine. If you wear dentures I would not recommend buying them. The taste was strange at first, but soon after, the lemon stands out the most, and that's okay. i like lemon I'm just struggling with how much I'm paying compared to the size of the bottle. They could at least put that in a smaller bottle so we don't feel like we're being scammed about jelly beans or anything. Even a half-sized bottle with a bunch of gummy bears about to overflow will make more people feel a little better than a large bottle that's practically half empty. Just food for thought. I don't know if they still work. I'll have to update later and let you know.
