Ok I had to give the unit 4 stars because mine broke. But I would like to commend (high score) the seller for taking good care of me. when I contacted them about it. You were impressive. The unit is very large and spacious and the stands are well spaced. The only issue I have is that cleaning the shelves can be a little tricky unless you put a very clean product in to start (I dried durian in it and it was a mess - and it didn't tasted good. lol. ). I had no problems drying apples, pears, mangoes, etc. The peach was fine as long as it was firm. The reason for this is that there are burrs on the uprights due to the way the threads of the uprights (wire mesh) are intertwined. This is a minor inconvenience, but still increases the time it takes to clean. I've used several different dehydrators with many different configurations over the years and I have to say that this has given me a consistent product whether it's on the top shelf or the bottom shelf. regardless of the load (full or partial load). In terms of price, it can keep up with more expensive devices like the Excalibur. In my opinion, this is a high recommendation.
