Great bars but don't forget to watch the video closely... that's why

These are great bars and I love them on my bike. However, I almost got them back! I couldn't get them together when I first installed them. First of all, the instructions only show the installation location on the left side (switch). They're really rudimentary and you'll need to find some videos to go through the process as others have pointed out. However, the video does not show every detail and it is possible to make a mistake and not be aware of it. I started by installing the right (brake side). I needed help putting it back in place but the fit was terrible. It was a full inch! Really poor quality control so I took the bar off and put it in a shipping box to ship back. I even filled out the return forms and was about to send it back...but something haunted me. I took a chance and tried installing the one on the left. This time I had directions for that side of the bike. I kept a close eye on it and it just fitted in...it fit like a glove. Everything came together perfectly. I tightened it and switched to the other side. Again, this was the perfect solution after figuring out what I did wrong the first time. This is a great product. I would buy again in a heartbeat. But directions really need to be shown on both sides. That would have saved me a lot of frustration time. Another annoying thing is when you have to attach nuts to the back of the bar. This is "inside" the bike frame. You just can't get your fingers in there. As a result, I dropped one of the nuts into the coolant pan and couldn't find it to pull it back out. I bought another $0.50 nut from Home Depot, but it was a hassle, and I still couldn't find the melted nut that had gone missing somewhere on my bike. I hope it doesn't hurt, but I'm not going to take the whole bike apart to find it. Looking back, there are ways to do better. Make sure you plan this step ahead of time so this doesn't happen to you.
