Review on 🃏 Apostrophe Games Blank Poker-Sized Cards (Matte Finish, 2.5" x 3.5") - Ideal for DIY Projects, Flash Cards, Board Games, Study Guides by Jamal Gerrero

I like these cards although they are much smaller than I expected (I was imagining a deck of playing cards but they are smaller than I am used to) . I used them for an oil pastel art project. Some reviews mention that these cards are not fully matte, which is true - they have a light coating. I found that if I brushed them with Mod Podge or Gesso first, they took the oil pastel perfectly - no smearing, I was able to apply multiple colors and the work stayed intact. The paper was of sufficient quality that I had no problems with curling. When trying this technique, remember that the plaster or mod podge layers should be light. A little counts for a lot. I would buy them again but maybe I'm looking for a larger version.
