Masks are made of plain woven cotton and are more likely to shrink if washed in lukewarm or hot water and tumble dried. I had this problem with other cotton masks, they fit when new but after washing and drying they are too small for my face. I will wash them thoroughly and air dry them to avoid this. They are quite well made, but not very high quality. It was supposed to be a total of nine masks with 9 filters, but there were only 8 filters in the kit. Too many expenses to send back so I will use them anyway. These masks are made in China. I was hoping to find this information in the item description, Q&A, or reviews, but was unable to identify the source. Those who boycott Chinese products do not want to buy these masks. However, these are decent masks and the comfort is pretty good.
