I've used them on beauty pageant costumes and they worked great. Each sash is individually wrapped so I had to iron out the creases. The sashes are thin and the markings are translucent. I put a sheet of 20lb printer paper (regular paper) underneath and that was enough for decoration. I liked that this multipack had enough tape to ruin one or two and still enough to cover my team. The belts were long enough for most members of my team which included several boys and girls up to 5'11". (Not long enough for my 6'4 husband). I was very happy with this purchase.
