Don't snap into Dashboard 2009, read the reviews!

Read the full review as there are multiple add-ons in my photos! The included phone grip is shown below. Original review: Rubicon 2009. As others have said, the clips suck. I've spent a lot of time playing around with it to try and snap it into place and it didn't work. The clamps just don't fit. I plan on spending more time bending the clamps into a position where they can snag, but I don't want to break them and get a refund. I will write more after trying to make this work. It cannot be used, the construction seems good enough and the mount also seems good as many 19mm ball mounts can be fitted to it. The spring-loaded phone holder it comes with seems pretty flimsy, and my phone falls out when it hits a pothole. Edit: Like some others, I pulled out and used the original clips and the insert snaps into place, but it still doesn't fit properly. Even after the insert snaps into place, it's still loose on the side of the windshield and also slides about 1/4 inch from side to side, so it's not very comfortable. One more edit: Here's what I have today and I'm very happy with the installation setup now. I had to spend a little money to get all the little things, but I'm very happy with the result. The stereo cable + 1/8" stereo jack is routed up the other side (pressed into the grooves on each side) and then attached to a "USB C to 3.5mm 2-in-1 Headphone Adapter" under that dash , so I now have a charging cable that only fits my Pixel 3a with USB-C as the stock radio doesn't support bluetooth audio. The outgoing cable gives the tub just enough support to keep it from moving. The phone mount for the dash has a 1/4" threaded hole at the top of the mounting point so you can screw something else directly onto it and leave your existing phone mount in place. In my case I used a Grifiti mount to replace the top mount , and just screwed it in once it was in position where I wanted it, so now I have both, making it usable for another small device or for the passenger phone. I bought a "Gruffity Nootle 9" Flexible Metal Bl ack Gooseneck" and added an "Arm with Dual RAM Socket" and a "RAM Ball Adapter with 1/4"-20" threaded hole to attach the motorcycle mount for the TACKFORM phone - 1" Ball Connection" which has a stranglehold and makes my phone easier to see and reach. You can probably also see that there is a GoPro shoe on the right side of the tablet as I often shoot trail riding videos.
