My unit came in a box with tape on the top flaps of the box. The condition of the box was somewhat worn. I cut the tape and the bubble wrap was opened and torn. For me it was obviously a department that was opened and then returned. Nothing is missing. The box contained an antenna cable with a clip and a carrying strap. I went to my barn and cheered on my old two-stroke lawn boy. The device worked perfectly, without cables and with lead. I then tried it on my red Max blower and then on my two cylinder four stroke mower and then on my four cylinder machine. The device worked well and appeared to be accurate in everything I tested. I gave three stars for two reasons. Firstly the fact that this unit appears to have been returned by a previous purchaser, repackaged and shipped to me. I expect to have a factory sealed box when I make a purchase. The second reason I gave it 3 stars is that the settings are very limited. There are two settings. The first setting applies to two-stroke, single-cylinder and four-stroke twin-cylinder engines. The second rig we have is a two-stroke twin and a four-stroke four. That's all. You will be fine with two-stroke setups as most are single cylinder setups but there are no four stroke setups for one, six or eight cylinder setups.
