Review on Tire BFGoodrich g-Grip 195/65 R15 91H by Stanislaw Buzala ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

The first thing the tire fitter noticed when replacing an old Goodyear Excellence with a BFGoodrich g-Grip was the significant difference in rubber stiffness. He warned briefly: "Immediately notice." Yes, I noticed right away, moreover, more of a “fifth point”, when I stopped getting kicks on it when driving through expansion joints, pits, etc. But Goodrich cannot be called very soft either - optimal rigidity. It does not wear out quickly, for a couple of months of operation in some places even pimples from the new ones remained. At the same time, braking is excellent, fully controlled, both on dry and wet surfaces. Slightly shakes in a rut, but not fatal, everything is under control. Despite the pedigree, dirt riding is not one of the strengths of this rubber. A trip to the dacha through a repair section of the road covered with wet clay brought me back to reality: this is not All-terrain and My fawn is not an SUV at all :))) I rubbed the sidewall to the curbs several times, so far without problems. To summarize the above: In the face of the BFGoodrich g-Grip, we have a very high quality, but for some reason not so popular rubber, with good performance and at a very reasonable price. This is despite the fact that "off-road" goodrichs are very popular and loved by the masses. PS Country of origin - Poland

Pros
  • optimal rigidity, good wear resistance, good in rain, reasonable price
Cons
  • the country road does not like, like a rut
