Details: PROS: These locks look good, it's a great concept and fun to work with and the price is great CONS: 50% of the locks worked Not . Although they are adjustable, you need at least 2.5 inches of space for them to work without major modifications. I was fortunate to be able to weld and fabricate metal. Warning, they can get stuck when your hood is closed. Background: I bought these to replace the hood pins on my car. I liked that they were interlocked and flat. I would avoid them in the future, I risked the one 5 star rating they got. Long story short, one of the two only worked one turn, then snapped into position and stopped working. Since I spent time installing them and also cutting holes in my hood, I didn't just want my money back or make an exchange, I just wanted to replace the broken lock, I didn't want to take it out of the hood because now that I've cut holes in the hood for the parts I didn't want it to rust or anything. Amazon to find a solution, they were kind enough but kept letting me jump through hoops etc. Hey actually I never got my request so I ended up giving up and ordering a completely different solution from another company, whereupon I had to make further modifications to my hood to install a new set of hood latches. Once this was completed and my car was safe I sent the defective product back through Amazon who as always were very professional about it.
