Bonnet Pin Upgrade

High Quality Kit. I upgraded the old 2 1/2" chrome round plates on the hood. They lower the hood over the strut and insert either a small padlock or cotter pins to secure it. I was looking forward to the barrel key guard and since it is the holes were exactly the same size and the pillars were just replaced with the existing ones it should have been in about 30 minutes On my old setup I just lowered the hood, they went right over the A-pillars, I have a small one there Lock attached and that…

Beware cheap Cylander lock

Details: PROS: These locks look good, it's a great concept and fun to work with and the price is great CONS: 50% of the locks worked Not . Although they are adjustable, you need at least 2.5 inches of space for them to work without major modifications. I was fortunate to be able to weld and fabricate metal. Nice castle. Brings peace of mind to my car

Great for my 1970 VW Baja Beetle. I've been using it for a few months now. No major problems so far. Overall I'm happy with them. I replaced my old hood pins with these.
