NOT WHAT I ORDERED in Receiver and Amplifier

I ordered a 5.5 jack socket and adapter but received a version with a wired connector and adapter. I could do this by cutting the power cords BUT I paid an extra $3 for the plug version. I think I'll return it without trying.
