Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Deep Blue Stylus Pen for 2018-2020 Apple iPad: No Lag, High Precision, Palm Rejection by Brian Messerly

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A great alternative, but there is one major drawback.

First of all, this stylus is a great alternative to the Apple Pencil Gen 2. I use it with the iPad Air 4. If you're looking for a cheap alternative and don't need all the features of the Apple Pencil, then get it this. Recording is very smooth and connectivity or lag wasn't an issue at all. Also charges via USB, so not having to carry a separate charger is a plus. The only feature I haven't seen yet is the ability to wake up the iPad by tapping the screen or using the Apple Pencil's tilt function or gestures. I only use my iPad to take notes, so it's perfect for my needs. The biggest downside I've found is that I accidentally press the top or top of the pen while writing. Even if you barely touch this area, the stylus will toggle on and off and can be quite distracting when you're taking quick notes and shooting a lot. Even if it only takes a second to turn it back on, you may have missed something in class. So there's a lot to consider, but given the difference in price, it just doesn't make sense to buy an Apple for my basic needs. However, it only contains 3 tips and I couldn't figure out how to get a replacement, so that's something to think about as well.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
