Favorite iAccessory of the year!

While it was funny since I don't need an iPad for work, I just couldn't justify spending too much on a pencil. But I like to draw and take written notes - it helps me to visualize and express my ideas. I figured $25 would be smart to try. What I like: Good weight/balance/haptics, instant pairing with my iPad, dot for thin line or slant for shading, drawing/notes on photos are very helpful and work great for typing (even with my almost illegible handwriting - seriously, I got a C in calligraphy…

It's like a stick in the night

Excellent pen. But there is a very bright LED that lights up while the pen is in use. I mainly use this to play on my iPad at night when I'm trying to sleep. The light from this thing was so bright that I had to be careful not to get it in my eyes or it would blind me. But then I had to be careful not to disturb my husband, who was already asleep. So the next day I sealed this bulb with a piece of electrical tape. The problem is solved if the charging port is sealed with a small rubber plug…

I sent it back - Stylus pens

I have used this stylus on my iPad Mini Gen 5 and it has been documented as being fully compatible. What I think it is. I have a Samsung Note phone that comes with a stylus designed to work with the phone, including all the apps available for the device. Anything that can be done with a finger can be done 100% with a stylus, only faster and more efficiently (and looks smarter than tapping your finger). Advertised as a "pen", this Apple pencil made me expect the same. However, this isn't what I…

Smooth writing and easy adjustment

I bought two other brands of pencils to try with the iPad, one and the other for $17. This was a much better pen. It worked right away and writes very smooth, thin lines. Tilting it makes the lines thicker, and while it's not pressure sensitive, I don't need it anyway. I like the ease of use and the lack of Bluetooth. Even fits in my small pencil holder so I don't have to worry about losing it. I wish the charging port had a permanent cap - I'm nervous about losing the little bump, but that's…

A great alternative, but there is one major drawback.

First of all, this stylus is a great alternative to the Apple Pencil Gen 2. I use it with the iPad Air 4. If you're looking for a cheap alternative and don't need all the features of the Apple Pencil, then get it this. Recording is very smooth and connectivity or lag wasn't an issue at all. Also charges via USB, so not having to carry a separate charger is a plus. The only feature I haven't seen yet is the ability to wake up the iPad by tapping the screen or using the Apple Pencil's tilt…

Great lightweight alternative to the Apple Pencil

I've used both the Apple Pencil and this stylus. Both are good with small differences. I'll start with the Minot issues I found with this pen. First, as many have pointed out, it lacks pressure sensitivity and magnetic charging, which may or may not matter to the user. As for me, I don't mind as I use this for note-taking and writing rather than drawing, and I don't mind charging via a USB-C cable from time to time. Second, this pen only connects to one device at a time. It connected to my iPad

  • Absolutely amazing!

Best alternative to Apple Pencil

This product is amazing! It fulfills every promise it advertises. It's easy to hold, it has precise input, there's no lag that I see, and it feels premium. In terms of battery life, it lasted around six hours on heavy use (I actually didn't turn it off). As a photographer, I was very concerned about decent battery life. Thankfully, the battery is up to the task. If you're concerned about that, however, I'd recommend getting a reversible USB-C cable that you can use for on-the-fly charging, but…

Ok pen, but the game check is verified

Just to get this out of the way, I want to make sure people know that the seller is trying to cheat the check system by sending cards in every box with an offer of fifteen dollars for every customer who leaves feedback. It doesn't specifically say the rating should be five stars, but it's quite implied and I think it's obvious that this had an impact on the average review score. In addition to violating Revain's Terms of Service, this can end up burying valid criticism from people trying to get
