UPDATE ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASE: This is an amazing tool. I love it. But . . . the two tiny screws holding the case are constantly being loosened. And I mean ALWAYS. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver to keep the case from rocking back and forth. God forbid if one of these screws loosens and you lose it altogether. ALSO: Be sure to keep the plastic box/case it comes in as you will need a special tool there to open the battery case. This magnifier has a **normal** battery life. I suggest buying and planning for a set of 40 batteries if you intend to use this tool frequently.
