Beileshi LED Lighting Magnifier Kit for Easy Portability and Construction Review

Better than described. This LED magnifier is manufactured to high standards. The finish is excellent. We used this on a recent trip to the Ashfall fossil camps in northeastern Nebraska. My children loved looking at broken stones, agates and petrified bones. This trip sparked an interest in geology and archeology in our family.

I am very impressed with the quality of this loupe. The light is bright and I like the black light feature. Even the case it comes in is amazing and reminds me of other protection one could hope for in an expensive camera or lens. Closes easily but securely. It even has room for a tool that opens the battery compartment. With a built-in battery, of course. I will have it for years to come. Thanks for the quality product!

Needed an extra magnifying glass as I keep losing things like needles, rulers, scales, flashlights etc. Dealing with mineral samples, fossils, crystals, unique nail minerals, magnifying glass only required. Especially for my amber with insect inclusions. 40X Dual LED/UV is what you need. Don't waste your money on 30X/60X only with LEDs. in any case they are needed. I will attach some photos for you to see.

The glass lens is very important to me. Durable, washable, high quality. The lights are bright enough and in the right place. I can see all kinds of inclusions on gemstones, even very small ones at this magnification. It is also excellent for geological determination. For the price, I can put it in my bag and walk around comfortably. It would be nice if a suede or microfiber case was included, but since I can only negatively mention the bulky plastic case, I'm really happy. Maybe I'll remake…

this is a good magnifier but the one I received had the wrong connector or something. The light didn't work. The key they provided to access the battery cover wasn't really strong enough to remove the battery cover. I tried turning it counter-clockwise and the small prongs on the key were bent so it no longer fits on the battery door. UPDATE ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASE: This is an amazing tool. I love it. But . . . the two tiny screws holding the case are constantly being loosened. And I mean ALWAYS. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver to keep the case from rocking back and forth. God forbid if one of these screws loosens and you lose it altogether. Works as it should. The only problem is that the LED lighting switch is on the same side as the LED light, which means bright light hits your eyes when you turn on the LED lights. As for the lights themselves, they didn't turn on until I removed them. Put the batteries back in place using the cap removal tool that was provided, after I checked they had 1.5 volts each, put the cap back in and then FULLY tighten the cap.
