First off, other reviews claiming that this satin urethane is actually shiny are the result of consumer error. It must be mixed with any sealant. Stir very well, I recommend stirring constantly for at least 5 minutes, scraping down the sides and bottom. Stir occasionally while using the product. Part of the problem is that if you don't stir enough, the glitter will rise to the top. So when you start you have a high gloss. Then, when you reach the bottom of the glass, it becomes almost opaque. I made very large doors for my woodworking workshop. I used Minwax gel paint. I used this steering urethane on the manufacturer's recommendation. Unfortunately I couldn't find it locally so I had to order from Amazon. You can do two layers on both doors. So I ordered another one because I need the last layer. I'm sure my doors will take this urethane well.
