The color I received was a darkish teal color, not green really. The color suits me fine. The material is a slightly heavier tee shirt material than I've seen on some similar tops, and the princess seaming is attractive and gives a definite fit and flare shape. I bought a size that is just smaller than my bust measurement, and I'm very pleased with how that came out. I have a bit of upper-abdomen pooch that makes me look pregnant in empire waist shirts, but this shirt does not fit so tightly right under my bust as that, and so I feel comfortable with how it looks. Very pleased overall, I can't wait to wash it up and wear it. In the winter I may still wear a thermal tee under it (I found a scoop neck brand that I can tug so it doesn't show in the split neck area) in the winter to stay warmer. This one is a total winner with leggings. Very happy.
