okay, let's be realistic: it's a tiny vacuum cleaner that costs about the same as dinner for two at Mcdonalds. You can't bring this thing home with high expectations. So I'm not going to complain that it felt like a child's toy in my grown lady's hands, or that it didn't win much on the first pass (or second, or sometimes third), and it really doesn't. the great thing is that even my cats were not afraid of the brute force of this vacuum cleaner. I wanted a cheap little vacuum for my cheap little house and the Dirt Devil Simpli-Stik performed admirably as it was very cheap and very small. Unfortunately, being more than mediocre at vacuuming wasn't part of the product equation. If you live in a one-bedroom apartment or dorm, or maybe you have a carpet throughout the house that you like to vacuum occasionally, and you feel that if someone sees you pushing a baguette - big vacuum cleaner and you don't mind - you don't mind Budget is smaller than your shoe size. It could just be your vacuum cleaner.
