This is necessary to be able to reuse the matching Powerheads as we removed the bottom gravel pack due to a broken vermin auger. This works great when doubled up on each head to keep it high off the ground in our 90 gallon tank. Pipes under the gravel pack that used to hold it for us. We never had any clips or suction cups to hold it. It's about the size of a large beer and pop can and folds in half nicely. This provides more biofiltration until the new sandy soil that replaced the rocks hardens. (off-topic) We were told that the flow cycle is best for only the important bacteria to save the tank with all the fish left in it after such a change and that's exactly what happened and we didn't lose any fish. You can see it trying to go bad and then add liquid and it will be crystal clear again. This is great information for those who, like us, make big changes to their tanks. We didn't lose any fish or plants.
