Review on Without Reserve Mounting Aluminum Pannier by George Utley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works on my cruiser!

I had a hard time finding a rack that would securely attach to the seatpost as my Six Three Zero Evryjourney Cruiser bike seat sits at a higher angle than most. This stand did it! It's nice and sturdy and will hold my child's seat (look for a bike rear seat cushion with grab bars and seat pegs). In fact, the seat attaches to this frame as if they were made to work together. If you have this bike: I used two small rubber pads to make the seatpost more secure as even the smaller part is too big. It's VERY cozy and safe and won't go anywhere. It also attaches to dedicated holes, but I wanted a seatpost mount. I removed the rear fender and attached the rack *without* the adjustable mounting bars for a more secure fit. Unless you're carrying a small child, I think you can easily mount them over the fender and still be secure enough for your load. Using the longer black bolts, I attached each side of the strut to the top holes holding the wing spokes and secured with nuts. (This ONLY deletes the chain from this page.) NOTE. I had to compress the side bars inward a bit to allow the rack to fit the width of my bike. It's not easy, but it can be done and it doesn't seem to compromise integrity or strength in any way. Be sure to watch the installation video as there are no instructions included in the box.
