The 7/8" version doesn't look like the picture but I think it's ok. I can say that it works, but I also say that it's a bit questionable It works due to friction and I give the inventor credit for making something simple that works (mostly) or something Your normal smooth descent should be due to the friction of the device turning itself on holding in place, being more aggressive.This causes some unintended RPMs that you need to know to compensate for (although RPMs may be higher depending on your bike and your mood. ok.) Another side effect of throttle hold friction is that bike vibration is a can cause slow release throttle. I think that depends a lot on your bike. All in all it's really a cheap cruise line. But it's clearly not that automatic and carefree like something built in.
