Somehow works best in controllers

Takes up about an inch of throttle body space. I found it impractical so don't use it. It seems to work when I tried it - holds the throttle in place. However, it does not adapt to the terrain, so it is only suitable for short distances. You have to push with your index finger while holding the throttle stick. It has enough advance to slide and allows you to slowly twist the throttle forwardβ€”no need to pull it back separately. I might try again if I have a long journey ahead of me, but the…

Simple but effective.

I bought this for my V-strom and initially had trouble holding it. I almost threw it in the trash, and then I decided to educate myself on how to use it. Yes! I installed it wrong. I raise it up like I'm supposed to and lower it and lo and behold, it really works! It's a simple little device that holds the throttle in place with slight friction to give your right hand a little breathing room. It won't take 10 minutes but it usually takes me about 1 minute from time to time to straighten my arm…

The next best thing to cruise control

I bought a motorcycle without cruise control. My next bike will be a cruiser (FJR). Until I bought a new bike (2017 or so), I found this "cruise control" to be the best. That works great! I installed the Cruise Assist and it gives my throttle hand a nice rest. Uphill I play with the cruise control - the cruise control is much better. Ride assist is great on flat roads, though, and messing around with ride assist on hills is better than holding the throttle all the time. If you don't have cruise

Good for the price in leverage

The 7/8" version doesn't look like the picture but I think it's ok. I can say that it works, but I also say that it's a bit questionable It works due to friction and I give the inventor credit for making something simple that works (mostly) or something Your normal smooth descent should be due to the friction of the device turning itself on holding in place, being more aggressive. This causes some unintended RPMs that you need to know to compensate for (although RPMs may be higher depending on…

Buyers beware of possible counterfeits

I replaced the one I had previously bought at the show. It appears to be a cheap plastic imitation that has been placed in packaging that looks like the original Go Cruise packaging. The product itself does not match the photos on the box or what I already have. Attention buyers, I believe this is NOT a genuine Go Cruise device. Here is the seller's response: We manufacture and Go Cruse has been our trademark for many years. We have two generations of this plastic version. The old one with 3…

Discounted design not as pictured

I had a great experience with one of these on my first bike. It was exactly as pictured and has worked flawlessly so far, ridden 8 years (including winters in Wisconsin), 70,000 miles and been outside the whole time. The second one ordered here did not come in the cranked shape shown in the picture, but the arm side is in the middle. I didn't think it would matter but I mounted it on a second bike of the same make and model as the first. A year later, he began to slip on the handle and bite the

The best cruise control for motorcycles!

I've looked at a lot of motorcycle speed controls (as the OEM version isn't usually available) and many of them didn't meet my expectations. . While not the ideal cruise control for motorcycles, it's the best I've used to date. Very easy to use. As with all aftermarket cruise control gadgets it takes a while to get used to, then tweak a bit to set the cruising speed and you're good to go. Of course, the internal vibration inherent in the whole machine will loosen up a bit anyway, and since it's
