Review on Dual-purpose Bamboo Stovetop Cover Workspace and Countertop Cutting Board with Adjustable Legs by Prosumer's Choice by Carmen Peterson

Legs don't fit, dry easily, easy to use

We have moved into a house with a small kitchen and a very small work space. I really needed this cutting board that can be placed on the sink or on the stovetop. It works, but leaves a lot to be desired. Pros: Good looking, very light weight, so easy to wash and handle, sits well on the electric torch without scratching the coils as it has "legs" that raise it about an inch. Cons: The ridges on the sides are very shallow and if you cut something really juicy it can overflow - the ridges aren't on all sides - oddly there's about 4-5 inches left without ridges. It also "slips" and that's a real problem for me. The bottom part won't hold up, so I'll probably tuck something in there to keep it from moving while I carve. The posts are utterly useless - even if you can mount them they are plastic and slippery - but most importantly the hole they are supposed to fit in is round and the nut on the post is hex so it fits Not! I spent a lot of time attaching the stand and gave up. Considering it's still going to be slippery, it won't serve as a real target for me. If I hadn't been so desperate for something to use right away I would have sent it back because of the cons. There are size options so be careful and measure well. I did just that and that's why the size I got met my most basic needs.
