I don't understand why this solder is rated so highly because it didn't work very well for my soldering needs (electronics repair). Every solder joint I've used it on looked awful. boring, almost like a cold solder joint. I've tried several soldering iron temperature settings, but always the same result. Posted a question on an electronics forum for advice and opinion and was overwhelmed with comments that this solder is cheap Chinese junk not really intended for serious electronic component soldering. I would have sent it back but the return window closed just a month after receiving it. I've been an electronics engineer for almost 45 years and I've never seen soldering results like this. I got the impression it was intended for making jewelry.
