I had read the previous reviews and was a bit disappointed that I only ordered them because some of the reviews said many of them didn't work after installation. I installed a few and some didn't light up so I gave them a try. Two things you need to know to make it work. 1) They are designed to be used at night, so they may not light up during the day. 2) When you unscrew the flashlight, you need to remove a piece of paper to allow the battery to make contact and you need to make sure the small wire from the flashlight protrudes beyond the small hole in the flashlight. You'll see what I mean when you unscrew the light. They all worked for me when it was dark and when I was fixing a small wire. Kids love them on their bikes. Much luck!
