Cons: very sensitive (if you burn the toast it may beep). Final Thoughts: Please replace the batteries twice a year. Many people remember to change the batteries in their detectors by setting them for Daylight Saving Time. So when you change the time, you also change the batteries. This detector is easy to install and does its job very well. Like I said, it's very smoke sensitive, but I think that's a BIG plus. I have one detector in each bedroom and one in the kitchen. I highly recommend this device.
