The Fire Ladders Ordered were supposed to be 9' 8". Somehow the order received turned out to be 7' ladders which are WAY TOO SHORT as 9' was required as a minimum. The Return window was closed before I could get the installation started due to the weather. THIS PRODUCT IS UNUSABLE AND WAS INCORRECT ACCORDING TO THE ORDER. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO RETURN THESE ITEMS.

the rope ladder is sturdy, reliable, its made from good quality materials, it's exactly how it's shown in the pictures and description, highly recommended

I used this to replace a stepladder i had setup for a fire escape on upstairs balcony. Much safer and easier to use. Safety hooks could detach during evacuation.

I was recommended a fire escape from ISOP in TV , i bought it and now i can sleep peacefully . In the case of emergence , you can go down the window.

We have not tried it because our balcony is screened, but peace of mind is priceless, we live in 3 story townhouse and 3 weeks ago a neighbor's house caught fire, if it had been in middle of the night they would have had no choice but jump from 3rd floor bedroom balcony.I'm hoping we NEVER need it, but it folds up to store on porch out of sight and it's easy enough to attach to railings

This probably would work to escape an upstairs window where it rests against a wall. It is way too unstable to use to descend from a upstairs deck or tree house.

Works well for my use. I mountednit as a play ladder for my 5 year old. Perfect for this. Probably would work very well as a single use emergency ladder. Im 200 pounds and ive climbed it repeatedly without issue. That said, the way the wrungs are construcked is the weak point of this ladder. The ropes themselves are super-duty, bit the wrungs would likely fail if used on an ongoing basis by a large adult man in boots.

I thought this sturdiness might give it more support, which it does. However, the stiffness makes it tough to handle and doesn't give it much ability to roll up for storage. Still working on how to hook it up outside an RV escape window because its stiff to handle and large to store. The supplied bag is useless.

This is probably the best of all the 2 story escape ladders out there. Won't cut into your fingers like the cheap wire chain models. It's reusable, most of the others are not. Worth the extra cost. We live in a third floor apartment and I bought this for emergencies! I have a nice iron railing that I attached mine to. We attached it and lowered it down to see if it reaches the bottom. It does perfectly!

Since we moved to a new house purchasing an emergency fire escape ladder was a must. Didn’t want to risk it with any other American brand ladders and decided to go with the original isop ladders for their safety.
