Peace if mind for my opinion

We have not tried it because our balcony is screened, but peace of mind is priceless, we live in 3 story townhouse and 3 weeks ago a neighbor's house caught fire, if it had been in middle of the night they would have had no choice but jump from 3rd floor bedroom balcony.I'm hoping we NEVER need it, but it folds up to store on porch out of sight and it's easy enough to attach to railings
