I wanted to try this type of product for 3 reasons: (1) protect my phone (drops etc), (2) protect my phone screen, (3) replace my separate wallet by Phone and wallet can be combined into one item. It does all three really well, although I'm still getting used to not having a separate wallet. I reduced my wallet to a driver's license, a credit card, and some cash. I'm still getting used to pulling out my phone when I need cash or a credit card. Holding the phone with the lid open also takes some getting used to, especially when taking photos. It feels a bit heavy when on the phone. , although I do remember not having the extra weight of a separate purse in my pants. It's well made and looks good and seems to offer good protection for my phone. The magnetic closure is good, you get used to it quickly. Apple's branded wallet/case is much thinner and lighter, but costs almost five times as much ($125), and since Apple changes the size of the phones with each model, it seemed like too much for a year.
