X1 seems to mean 1 cone

So you can buy them in 2 sets, four cones in one pack, where 4 cones are shown in the pictures and. 1 cone in which. All pictures show 2 cones. Apparently they add X1 to mean there is only 1 cone, not a pack of 2 cones (another confusing issue is that 1 cone is about half the price of 4 cones so you actually paying double for 4 skittles). . much per cone to get 1 cone at a time). Anyway, the cone itself is fine. The base is thin plastic and was broken when I received it. I put it back together and it looks like it will be fine for a few uses. The flashlight requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. There's no indication of how to insert the batteries, but after trying various combinations, a combination of side + top on one side and side + bottom on the other worked. A small button on the lantern allows you to turn it on, blink and turn it off. The cone grows to a good size and seems to stay upright. Haven't tried it outside yet so I don't know if the wind will blow it away or not but it should be fine for my short term use. The most frustrating aspect of this cone is folding back. You might think that you can just slide it down from the top and it folds back into itself; it's not like this. You need to start at the base and push each ring down and align them in rings around them. Folding back takes 30 seconds; It seems like it could be something that would last 1 second if you could press and fold it from the center. I will keep and use this cone but will not buy again. It's a good idea, but poor execution.
