Here are some more detailed instructions.

Old dog - new tricks? I just installed this an hour ago and am hoping our 10 year old Bassett gets the hang of it. But I have to say, these are the worst guides I've ever used! I'm pretty skilled and figured it out, but not because of those cryptic instructions. Even the pictures are confusing. My instructions: 1. Basically you start with a flathead screwdriver or spatula to separate the frame and then the door so you have 4 pieces. I used a spatula.2. Then install one half of the frame in the bottom corner of the screen door (make sure the hinge slots are up) and push the pins into the screen one at a time until everything is pierced through the screen. I did this by using my fingers to push from the side of the screen while applying pressure to the frame until each pin popped out.3. When you're done the bezel should stay on the screen by itself while you take the other half of the bezel (the hinge slots at the top) and gently slide it across the screen into the first half (going through one at a time - this will take time a while). even press).4. Then I used smacking motions with my fists on the inside and outside of the door to bring everything together, making sure the pins and holes lined up. Then carefully cut the screen around the frame - I used a sharp box cutter.6. I took this piece of screen and did the same with one half of the door as I did with the frame - I pushed all the pins through the screen.7. Carefully place the other half of the door onto the shielded half and begin inserting the pins into the holes as before.8. After a few parts were assembled, I laid it on the carpet and, with my fist clenched, lightly banged the two halves of the door together. (the screen creases a little).9. Inserting a door into a box. I used my spatula to gently pry open the top of the door frame so I could push the assembled door pins into place.10. Hold the door at about a 45º angle and insert a pin into the open hole in the frame.11. Start inserting the other end into the center of the frame until it reaches the other hole.12. Make sure both pins are in the hinge holes and snap the frame together with the same push/pop. You may have to go around and reconnect some of the pins if they got loose during other steps. It's a bit verbose, but it's a lot more information than you get from the included instructions. Much luck!
