12 x 40 _what_? at Fish & Aquatic Pets

Seriously - should I rate this product for 'taste'? I believe this may be a good product for someone but the seller cannot tell how small these particles are. The question on the product page was not answered. "12x40" (whatever that means) turned out to be WAY too good for my use. It's almost like beach sand that just oozes out of my filter, leaving nothing useful behind. 12x40 (something) is very normal. If it works for your application, it could be a good product for you. Useless to me.
