Review on Sara Happ Lets Scrub Shine: Achieve Radiant and Smooth Lips by Katie Miller

This Sara Happ Let's Glow Lip Scrub and Shine Set includes a sugar scrub and a moisturizing gloss. It's really a pleasure. The peeling smells pleasantly of sweet maple syrup or caramel. It's thick and grainy but offers gentle exfoliation. Mine came with a little oil separated, but you just have to stir it. The scrub feels great when I massage it gently into my lips in a circular motion, and my favorite way to remove it is with a warm, damp washcloth. It's a quick process and does a great job of exfoliating my flaky and dry skin. I apply a sheer, glossy shine with shimmer. It's thick and requires a little force to squeeze out of the tube, but it glides on smoothly and smoothly. It feels sticky at first but it doesn't irritate me as that sticky feeling wears off fairly quickly and my lips have an even layer of product which is soothing, moisturizing and also very long lasting. I like that it lasts as I always have a balm, lipstick or other product on my lips. I only notice a slightly sweet aftertaste from the gloss, but I can't detect any particular taste or smell. This duo by Sarah Hupp makes my lips smooth and supple and my matte and other lipsticks go on smoother. The only downside for me is that several ingredients have received moderate risk ratings from the EWG. Glossy BHT is the worst culprit. Also, both have an indefinite flavor, the scrub has petroleum jelly, and the glitter has mineral oil. But most of the ingredients appear to be good or low-risk. I love this set from Sara Happ and think it would make a welcome holiday, birthday or anytime gift for a teen or adult of any age. Love it. 5 Stars. Note for nut allergy. The gloss contains whole-leaf macadamia seed oil and sweet almond oil, so it may pose a risk to those with nut allergies.
