So the picture is deceptive. I thought I had four splash screens, but wait - there's more! In fact, you only get a splash screen, and it's good. It has the right size holes to allow steam to escape but almost no fat. If you are wondering how to clear screen, it is very simple. Most of the oil falls back into the pan, and what's left is easily washed off in the dishwasher. I put it on the bottom and it slides in with no problem. It's large and doesn't take up much space in your cupboard, but it's a great compromise for the time and effort you'll save by not degreasing your range and adjacent worktops.
