Good solid crockery. We use it for our beard salads. I love that he can't tip it over or move it like he did with the old plastic we had. I also think it just looks better and more natural. And I was pleasantly surprised that the one we received was a slightly redder shade than the one in the picture. This goes very well with the theme of our viv But xs if everyone has a color. I have purchased other Exo Terra dishes and they seem to be slightly different in color.
