Very easy to install, just take care when removing the old one to fit the new one with the same orientation. When installing the new filter, place the small fabric filter against the pump to prevent it from snagging on the pump holder. So it should fit exactly. The only complaint I have is that there are no instructions on how to assemble the pump float or how to install the pump. But thankfully, it's easy to find out. Good value for money.
