For the first time, the mount was as strong as advertised.

Overall I liked the mount, its metal construction is the right thickness to support heavier/larger TVs. The only downside to the whole mount is that the plate you screw to the wall is permanently attached to the rest of the swing arm, requiring you to open the mount to the furthest position to access all of the frame's holes. At this point, at least two people are required for installation. The first two bolts are used with hanging loops; which requires you to measure fairly accurately so the screws actually go into the hinges and hold the frame while you tighten them. The upside to this design issue is that the overall design is generally more robust, which I think is an acceptable trade-off. The position of the TV on the bracket from left to right is mainly based on the friction of the gripper rods that are screwed on. TV frame. The grip seems to be sufficient so it doesn't slide side to side, but if you need to center the TV left to right you may need to lift the entire TV (again, two people) and reattach it to the main mount swing arm. Not a big problem here either, you just have to be careful when attaching the TV to the bracket. Make sure you have it where you want it. I mounted our 75 inch tv 7ft off the ground so it was quite difficult, it took me 3 people, 2 to climb a ladder using the edges of the tv and a 3rd person to support the tv when we climbed to attach the bracket Of course with lighter/smaller TVs this is not a problem.
