So initially I was very happy with this purchase. It's very well built, has lots of pockets and space... BUT the water bottle holders are utterly useless. They're loose and don't have a spring or safety straps to hold them in place, so the bottles fall out as soon as you put the pack on or when you take it off your back. You literally have to hold them when you put them on and take them off. I've broken quite a few bottles and severely damaged my all-metal insulated water bottle. They just drop out. I would not recommend this product just for this defect. It amazes me how the company doesn't test this major flaw before selling it to the public. Buy a backpack that offers more security with bottle holders, or buy one that you know is useless in.
